Unlocking the chains of addiction in teens.

Adolescent Substance Abuse Program

Taking Precaution

Teen substance abuse is on the rise. One in three children starts drinking by 8th grade, and one in twenty high school students take opiates for nonmedical reasons.

Adolescence can be a tough time for teens and their parents or guardians. This stage of development is even more difficult when the threat of substance abuse is present. If you need help talking to your teen about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, the ASAP team is here for you.

ASAP is the first program of its kind in Ozaukee County. It’s also the first place parents can turn when they have questions and concerns regarding drug and alcohol use in their children.

Use and abuse can occur in any home, in any family. Our goal is to educate and empower parents and teens so we can catch the problem before it escalates – or even prevent use in the first place.

Taking Action

Ninety percent of addiction starts in the teen years. If you suspect or know that your child is using drugs or alcohol, the ASAP team is here for you.

Often times, the first step to overcoming teen substance abuse is overcoming stigma. It can be an issue for the teen, but it’s equally – if not more so – a problem for most the teen's family. You can feel isolated, scared or alienated.

At ASAP, you and your family are not alone.

Our staff of caring specialists use a comprehensive approach for early intervention and treatment. Led by a Clinical Psychologist, our drug and alcohol outpatient services give you and your family direct access to local and national resources that are evidence-based and values-driven. The goal of ASAP is to help achieve sobriety through a unique combination of therapies.

Make the Call

If you’ve ever wondered what your life would be like if you never had any of those “firsts.” Or wonder what your life could be like if you chose sobriety? Let us help you find the answers.
