
Birth Certificates
Columbia St. Mary's cannot issue copies of birth certificates.
Copies of birth certificates can be requested from the County Clerk in
the county where you or your child was born or from the State of
Wisconsin Vital Records, Department of Health & Family Services.

Social Services
Specialists are available to help parents and families cope with
emotional and social concerns that may arise during pregnancy and
throughout the first year of your baby's life. Services include
referring families to resources in the community, and arranging for
insurance approved follow-up care including medical equipment, supplies,
outpatient rehabilitation therapy or nursing visits to the home. For

networking community for parents raising kids ages 0-6 years. As a
one-of-kind, centralized resource, the site has caught the attention of

The parents that have met one another through the New Parents Network
group are so excited about the impact it has made on them that they
created their own blog site.
The New Parents Network is comprised of the Newborns to Crawlers & Toddlers meetings — Meetings where you join with other parents and babies to discuss the many life situations surrounding the birth of a newborn. It's a great opportunity to share ideas, learn from each other and talk about coping techniques. Parents and babies meet once a week. Also, Walking Wednesdays — A morning of walking and talking while we push our strollers through Lake Park.

Institute for Normal Birth

DONA
International
An international, non-profit organization of doulas that strives to have
every doula trained / educated to provide the highest quality /
standards for birth and/or postpartum support to birthing women and
their families. To that end, we promote continuing education for doulas
and provide a strong communication link among doulas and between doulas,
families and the medical birthing community.
