Mark Taylor is President & Chief Executive Officer of Columbia St. Mary’s (CSM) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Columbia St. Mary's (CSM) is a multi-hospital system which includes four hospitals in Milwaukee and Ozaukee Counties. CSM operates over 60 physician clinics throughout Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Sheboygan and Washington Counties as well as a major ambulatory care center in Glendale and several express/urgent care centers.

Previously, Mr. Taylor served as President & CEO of Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Genesys Health System is also a member of Ascension Health. He has an impressive career in healthcare with more than 35 years of experience in healthcare administration and leadership. Prior to Genesys, he served as President and CEO of St. John Hospital and Medical Center — a 632-bed hospital in Detroit and its 96-bed community hospital. He was also the executive leader of all cardiovascular programs for the entire St. John Providence Health System, which is also a member of Ascension Health.

Previous to his tenure with St. John, Mr. Taylor served as President and CEO of St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri, where he earned the “Facet of Excellence” award for Strategic Planning and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Mr. Taylor earned his Masters degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and his Bachelors degree in Economics and Business Administration from Hillsdale College in Michigan. He is a Fellow in the esteemed American College of Healthcare Executives.
