For over 50 years, Columbia St. Mary’s Family Medicine Residency has trained hundreds of outstanding “family docs.” We are at the leading edge of health care and medical education.
Our Family Health Center is an integral part of the diverse community we serve. We are a true and very busy patient-centered medical home with more than 32,000 patient visits annually. We provide care for the whole family, including obstetrics. In addition to the traditional office visit, we offer pre-natal group visits, diabetic group visits, and an osteopathic manipulation clinic.
The Columbia St. Mary’s Family Medicine Residency is affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Our affiliation with MCW Department of Family and Community Medicine affords the resources of a large tertiary academic medical center in the more personalized setting of a neighborhood community-based health center.
The Family Health Center is staffed by MCW faculty physicians and resident physicians. The resident physicians are medical school graduates who are pursuing three years of specialized training in Family Medicine.
