A Comprehensive Wellness and Health Information Resource
Columbia St. Mary’s and a family of generous donors are interested in you and your health. The Kacmarcik family has a lengthy relationship with Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus and has long seen the need for accessible health education. In 1999, the family provided funding for a cancer education area located in the Hospital in honor of their mother, Mrs. Josephine Kacmarcik. During the recent Hospital expansion, the Kacmarcik’s embraced an opportunity to strengthen their commitment to support health education in their community by funding the newly opened Kacmarcik Education Resource Center.
The Kacmarcik Center was established as a comprehensive wellness and health information resource for residents of Ozaukee County and the surrounding area. As part of Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus’s expansion and renovation, the Center was assigned a prime location in the center of the Doerr Atrium. There is no charge for the Center’s services.
A recent visit to the doctor or the hospital by you, a friend, or family member may prompt you to research a diagnosis or disease. Or, you may wish to stay up-to-date on medical information, including complementary medicine. Whatever the question or concern, the Kacmarcik Education Resource Center staff and volunteers are here to ensure that you get information from timely, current, reliable and professional sources that answer your health concerns.
