Columbia St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Services are designed around you. A Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist will assess your abilities and impairments and then work with you to design a therapy plan of care that encompasses all of your goals and needs – mind, body and spirit.
Your therapy will help you achieve the greatest level of mobility, strength and independence with the goal of returning you to your normal daily activities – whether that’s returning to work, climbing the stairs, or playing your favorite sport.
Multiple sites are conveniently located throughout southeastern Wisconsin to accommodate your rehabilitation program and schedule.

Help dealing with injuries related to athletic activities, conditioning or injury prevention
Treatment for a previously diagnosed medical condition that is still causing physical problems

When a hospital stay is necessary following an injury or surgery,
Columbia St. Mary’s facilities provide acute rehabilitation services to
improve mobility, increase independence and safely return you home. A
team of healthcare professionals; including physical therapists,
occupational therapists and speech and language pathologists; working
closely with your physician, will develop a treatment plan designed to
restore or improve your normal level of function in work and daily
activities while you are in the hospital.
For those who require a longer, more intense therapy regimen, a specialized inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is available.
Columbia St. Mary’s offers educational classes to the community to
provide information on the latest in medications, procedures, and
treatment techniques. Pre-surgical classes are also offered to patients
prior to joint replacement surgery to ensure the best possible results.
