Survivorship

In this Section

According to the Centers of Disease Control, “the term cancer survivor refers to a person who has been diagnosed with cancer, from the time of diagnosis throughout his or her life.”

From providing on-going follow up care post treatments to helping with individuals who live with cancer as a chronic disease manage side effects and periodic treatments, the Columbia St. Mary’s Polly and Bill Van Dyke Cancer Centers work with patients to live with, through and beyond their cancer care.

Columbia St. Mary’s Survivorship Program offers:

  • Treatment Summaries and Survivorship Care plans for breast and head and neck cancers (currently expanding to all other cancers)
  • Support Groups, such as Sister Warriors (breast cancer) and Man to Man (prostate cancer)
  • Clinical Health Psychologist
  • Oncology Dietitians
