“I love that I have this team that is strong and caring. I feel like I’m in the best hands possible.”
Columbia St. Mary’s has long been defined by our Passion For Patient Care. And when it comes to our breast cancer program, that means a passion for personal, individualized treatment for each patient. A passion for the latest technologies and innovative care. A passion for alternative therapies and a multidisciplinary team of caregivers. A passion for turning patients into survivors.
Among the first to participate in the National Cancer Institute’s Community Cancer Centers Program, the Columbia St. Mary's Polly and Bill Van Dyke Cancer Center worked to help elevate the quality of care delivered through community programs across the county. The Polly and Bill Van Dyke Cancer Center is a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center, accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the primary governing body establishing standards to ensure quality, multidisciplinary, and comprehensive cancer care. The Center is also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the American College of Radiology.
