After cancer treatment, a diet containing a combination of fruits,
vegetables, poultry, fish, low-fat dairy products and whole grains will
make sure that your body is receiving the nutrients and vitamins it
needs to return to good health.
Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables every day.
Avoid saturated and trans fats.
Choose whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat pasta and whole
Limit red meat and processed meats. Instead, opt for fish, lean
meats, eggs, nuts, seeds and legumes.
Avoid or limit alcohol intake.
Limit highly-refined foods and foods with added sugars like
sugary drinks and sweets.
