Columbia St. Mary’s is participating with the Wisconsin Statewide Health
Information Network (WISHIN) to provide patient health-related
information to a state-wide health information exchange, using a system
called WISHIN Pulse.
WISHIN Pulse allows your doctor to share your health information with other doctors that see you. The sharing of your health information is shared through a secure, computer network. This helps your doctors work together more easily and make better-informed decisions about your care. It can also help reduce mistakes—especially in an emergency.
The Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network (WISHIN) is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the benefits of health information technology to patients and caregivers throughout Wisconsin. WISHIN is building a statewide health information network to connect physicians, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and clinical laboratories across Wisconsin.
