Milwaukee, WI, July 22, 2013 – Columbia St. Mary’s is pleased to welcome Dr. John N. Catanzaro to the staff at Columbia St. Mary’s Cardiac Rhythm Specialists. Dr. Catanzaro will be practicing Cardiac Electrophysiology in both Milwaukee (2350 N. Lake Drive) and Mequon (13133 N. Port Washington Road.).
Dr. Catanzaro earned his degree in medicine from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, New York in 2005. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at North Shore University Hospital, in Manhasset, New York; and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Along with his medical degrees, Dr. Catanzaro has received honorable distinction in research from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Young Investigator Awards from both the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Catanzaro is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Catanzaro is a reviewer for two publications: Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology and Pacing Clinical Electrophysiology.
His clinical interests include arrhythmias; atrial fibrillation; ventricular tachycardia; ablation; electrophysiological studies; heart rhythm problems; lead extraction; pacemakers; defibrillators; sudden cardiac death prevention; and syncope.
