“Run for a Reason” Benefits Burn Injured Youth

Monday, August 26, 2013

InStep and Columbia St. Mary’s Regional Burn Center are hosting a fun run on Thursday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. to benefit Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth.

The event will start at InStep’s parking lot, located at 403 E. Buffalo Street, Milwaukee. Participants can choose from a 5K run or a 2-mile run/walk. There is a $10 suggested donation with all money going to support Summer Camp.

Please note that because these are fun-runs, and not timed or scored events, the routes are open to traffic. Bring your family and friends and join us for some fun in support of Summer Camp!

The Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety's Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth is a statewide effort that provides a summer camping experience for youth who have endured significant burn injuries. For more information about camp, visit www.wafs.org.
